So we met up with a real estate agent and started looking. Alamogordo is a very small town. One school and one grocery store. I think the only thing keeping this place alive is the military base. In spite of that, there are a lot of nice houses. A lot of them are new being built only a couple years ago.
We found one in our range. I instantly fell in love with everything! The homes here don't have lawns, they have rock. Too dry I suppose. So to our surprise there's a small patch of grass in the backyard.
I'm so happy. This is such a big milestone for us.
