Hey I got a new roommate... and I like her! She actually lived 4 doors down in Parker's room. But Parker plays the same songs over and over. Who wants to live with that? So invited her to my room. We get along pretty great!
After a whole lot of no free time and the serious lack of traveling done by the new guys I decided to take Briere, SGT Strickland and her 2 kiddos to Berlin. We have a holiday coming up anyway. Monaco could fill in for us seeing as how we've been covering for her for oh say... 2 years. pft.
I sure picked a bad hotel. i guess with Eric gone I didn't know how to pick em. It had beds and that's about it. I took them to all the places I could remember. Even the zoo! The kids loved that. Maybe not as much as me. We took the long walking Berlin tour which was harder from both my bad ankle and pushing a stroller. We got pretty tired. I also took them to the concentration camp. I think it's something everyone needs to see. The stories the tour guide tells are so heartbreaking and true.
Not having Eric there, and having it not be my first time, gave me the opportunity to take tons of photos! I'll take them into town next weekend and maybe take Briere to get a schnitzel. YUM!
(I lost all those photos in customs along with a PS2... darn thieves)
